| The scheduling workflow would start with the surgeon's office calling in the surgery center or sending in a fax with the required scheduling details and patient demographic. The particulars would be recorded with the first hand information available that's been received from the surgeon's office and a block is created in the scheduling grid. The conflict checking is done if required and notify material manager if materials required. Once the details are completed the case is created with the information available and proceeding further various types of visit are captured, and time slot required is entered. So in this manner the scheduling workflow starts off and moves towards other modules in the surgery center. Therefore as mentioned earlier capturing the scheduling information accurately at an initial stage would aid other function that's to take place. |

| Blocking will allow a particular surgeon/group to hold blocks at a committed level and if unused will be automatically released. So this will enable a certain surgeons to have a personalized schedule and the consistency of the booked surgery conducted is assured. |
