PRE-OPERATIVE PROCEDURE |

The most important information that’s focused at a pre-operative level in a surgery center is as below: |

Discuss the proposed procedure with the patient |

Discuss financial aspects with the patient if requested |

Obtain required consent for the procedure that’s to be conducted |

Assess pre-existing medical records and history |

Plan the pre and post operative care depending on these conditions |

INTRA-OPEATIVE PROCEDURE |

The intra operative procedure is conducted on the day of the surgery and below details will be focused before the surgery: |

On the day of the surgery the patient is asked to settle the financials before proceeding for the surgery |

The patients vitals are physical fitness is checked before proceeding for the surgery |
 |
Consent forms and living will is signed by the patient |
 |
The patient is sent to the operating room and the concerned operating procedure is conducted. |

POST-OPERATIVE PROCEDURE |
|
The post operative procedure is where the patient will regain consciousness and below stated information will be counter checked before patient leaves. |

Anesthetists would check the vitals to ensure the patient has returned to normalcy |
 |
Patient is explained regarding post-op care by the nurse and makes sure the patient is assisted home |
 |
Patient gets a follow up call from the surgery center on the patient’s health status |
