| The HITECH Act – Healthcare IT policy is guiding the Physicians towards the usage of Electronic Medical Records for better patient care & outcomes. According to the recent analytics, approximately $17 Billion will be used towards the incentive payments to Physicians participating in Medicare & Medicaid programs. The criteria for availing the benefits are to adopt & use the EMR’s in a meaningful way. The meaningful usage capabilities of the EMR’s will be tested & certified by “CCHIT” – A Non-Profit organization, through its CCHIT 2011 certification program. |

| Below are some of the criteria’s to be satisfied for the EMR’s incentive program: |

Anesthesiologists, Pathologists & Emergency Physicians are not covered. |
